How strange am I?

I like unsweetened peanut butter and dijon mustard sandwiches with lettuce.

Peanut butter and mustard. Together? Same sandwich? I'd have to call you adventurous; with some very unique taste buds added to the mix.

A.C.,
Try it on a toasted poppyseed bagel, you oh so fortunate person with available bagels. It may surprise you.

Sounds interesting actually.

Today for lunch I had a slice of sourdough bread spread with wasabi mayo. Out of this world :-)

This morning I had porridge with added sliced banana and orange. Later I went on a big shopping trip. So far today I've eaten a large carton of natural yoghurt with sliced banana (when I've bananas in, they are in demand), 4 satsumas, 2 apple sandwiches in 'peanut + walnut bread', the remainder of the loaf of nut bread, some made into black treacle sandwiches, some into marmite sandwiches and some into cheese sandwiches; almost an entire jar of pickled onions; and I am thinking of eating a raw carrot to round it off before bed.

Stenonymous,
That sounds delicious, except for the marmite, since I've never eaten it.

I am having a rough week. I'll write something more interesting soon. Promise.

UTMG,
Are you sure you're not American?

Consise,
I am, perhaps, always in a state of pregnancy: pregnant with thought, pregnant with anticipation of Spring, impregnated and weather resistant.

I might as well be. My government appears to be, as does all their foreign policy.

Guess I should start eating mountains of maple syrup pancakes for breakfast and get myself to sleep at night by wearing an armoured, sweat resistant flag.

Terry,
I got so busy looking up wasabi that I forgot to answer. It sounds good. I just don't like raw fish, so I've never run into it.

Was that Festi who quickly passed through here?

P.S. - Peanut butter and chocolate. Absolutely fabulous.

it's good with or without the fish :-) Just watch that you don't inhale whilst eating it, or you get fire in your lungs. (It is a horseradish, after all)

It said it was Festi, anyway. I didn't get a close enough look.

I will be sure to avoid it, purely for the sake of my health.

Terry,
I have eaten chicken hotdogs, which were NOT good, and turkey hotdogs, which were good, but never a lamb hotdog. I anticipate enjoying them, though, since I love lamb.
