Right. Back to business.

Things seem a bit sticky these days. Doubt and distrust are worming their way into many lives. No one sounds particularly happy, except perhaps Steve, who is wise enough to avoid contamination.

I should be studying my book on healthcare and basic anatomy, but I'm not. I should be cleaning up. I'm not. I am going to perform the magic of baking a cheesecake, and letting it set and ripen overnight. We will see if that improves things any.

We seek him here, we seek him there,
We bloggers seek him everywhere.

He's gone missing, our Brendar, and we miss him sorely.

And YOU haven't answered my question.

Joe,
I got stuck fighting windmills, and the cheesecake won't be made until tomorrow. I am pathetic.

No problem, Jeanne. I understand those windmills can be difficult sometimes.

No wireless access at neolithic sites, festi? what were they thinking?

Brendar is alive, but he was uncharacteristically absent from the last monthly Martian conclave, something came up at the last minute. We think the FBI hunted him down after he posted pics of GWB on his now (apparently) defunct blog. Homeland Security probably has him in a tiny room watching Navy propaganda over and over.

Oh, and "Anonymous" = coward.

GAR GAR GAR GAR GAR!!!!!!!!

After spending about the last 3 hours trying to book train tickets and practically putting my fist through the computer screen, this was a WONDERFUL SURPRISE!!!!!!

I hope you are joking or wrong about Brendar. Nothing surprises me anymore.

That's a very kind greeting ... your day must have been rather shitty! I can't tell how old these posts are: they only show the time (no date). Sorry to have remained absent so long.

Gar,
I've fixed that. I didn't realize I could.

Brendar does not seem responsive to normal methods of communication: phone, email, smoker attendance, but he can be found posting comments on www.soulhorizon.com/board.

I do believe the only answer to apparent self-imposed isolation (pardon my own) is for each of us to don some sort of obnoxious Catholic persona (like my own) on the above-referenced board, and begin harassment in earnest.

Would anyone like to be Jimmie “the Monk” Allegretti? Or perhaps "Big Nose Sam" DeStefano?? Check http://www.sounddoctrine.com/famous.htm for the, um, official list. Hee hee …

Oh, and now that I am a mob recruiter, we need a photo of this blog owner. Comply, and nobody gets hurt.

Gar,
I searched for him there, and though he was prolific earlier, I could find nothing for the past two weeks or more.

What has happened to our Martian in Arms?

I think we should start worshiping Gar as the martian leader. If Brendar doesn't want us, maybe he isn't of the sort we thought he was. Maybe he has holed himself up and is preparing the illustious float gar spoke of that has us all curious. maybe he's brewing beer or rolling cigars for the big smoke out. I bet he's watching Knight Rider, though.

No, there was a bit of philosophy thrown into a highschool (gymnasial) level course on assistent nursing, which I am being more or less forced to study in order to keep my job or get a new one. I realize I never say anything interesting any more. I'll try to work on it.

I keep scanning the European press for info on a horrible cheesecake accident and that's the only thing that could possibly be keeping Jeanne from writing, but so far I haven't seen anything.

I'll keep you all posted if I do...

Joe,
I am embarassed to admit that the cream cheese is still untouched in the fridge. Any accident with cheesecake you read about is not my fault. Not yet.
