Superflash (55 word short story)
There are flames. Oh Lord, why didn't I believe? Heat, and mist, and people burning, and regret, from now on! Why didn't I repent? Stubborn fool! I chose my most immediate needs, the easy road, threw caution to the wind! One choice to make, and I chose wrong. Why didn't I sign the Kyoto treaty?

It's not supposed to be hell, it's supposed to be earth after global warming. It's just supposed to sound like hell before you get to the punchline. Quite unsuccessful, apparently.
If you mean I am foolishly buying into figureheadness, rest assured. I think Bush proves that presidents have absolutely nothing to do with power in the US.
I don't believe in hell, either. Sure hope I'm right.
Of course, it was stupid to say he had a choice. But it's possible that Bush thinks he has a choice.
