Terry, It's more of a feeling than a thought. When I remember that the earth and universe exist, or what an enormous something I am a small part of, it exhilirates me and comforts me at the same time. My own "world" can be overwhelmingly large and weighty at times.
Terry, I am surviving. AND working in the garden. All else is straggling after me, whining and trying to catch my attention. I won't turn around for another week.

Now I suppose that is profound - although I'm not really sure what you are trying to say :-)
So very true ! We are but a spec of dust in the larger cosmos.
We may be tiny, but even the smallest cogs have their purpose in the big machine.
But what is the machine powering?
And why is it being powered?
Hmmm

Consise,
A speck of universal awareness, too. Thus the dichotomy.
Steve,
I quite like the dizzy feeling of whizzing through space. And Time. It's like coming up for air.
UTMG,
I like to take a short break from my all-consuming purpose on occasion. It implies leaving the why's behind. They don't fit out there.
Yeah.
'Why' is always an oddly shaped piece.
A speck of universal awareness, too
ah, now I like that. What a great thought. I like being included as a piece of this universe, as important as all the rest.
Jeanne - I hope you are getting through your studies with more rest in between.
Happy Monday!

How do you know that it is not you surrounding the universe?
Sure...but it was mostly just relief and exhileration, right?
UTMG,
I know nahtheeng.
Joe,
No.
But I wouldn't mind having a bit more exhileration in general.
Rent a motorcycle and go for a ride. That will exhilarate you I promise!
Steve,
I'm off for a gentle all-day trip tomorrow as it happens.
On bicycle, that is.
