Okay, I saw the epic. Now, shall you be sharing it with the rest of your adoring fans? I treasure the fact that I will always be able to say I saw it first :-D

PS - did your Dad ever get his?

Terry,
He did. It turns out it was being filtered out as spam. That's what you get for mentioning horse races and luck in a story.

Yes, you were the first, and, given the nice things you said, probably the best. My parents didn't like it. Actually, my mother disliked it and my father hasn't even mentioned it since he read it, so I'm guessing what he's feeling is something worse than dislike. Oh well. I did not expect more, given the subject matter. I don't think I'll be putting it up here, because I may want to try to publish it or enter a contest or something, and then it has to be previously unavailable to the general public. But anyone who will cough up an e-mail may partake!

U.Toast, U.:

No, freedom borders pain, at least these days. Just one slippery "s" away from the truth.

Steve,
I've worked my way upwards this time :)

They've re-named french fries "freedom fries" in some inane attempt to rally the american public to the cause.

Do you mean I'm sympathizing with the t-orists? I certainly understand their cause, while obviously rejecting the effect.
