Silences
This one is of the darker sort. Someone died quite suddenly about two weeks ago. While the air is lightening, I'm still not my chipper self. Priorities rearrange themselves. I have a revelational post pending as a result of all this, however, so don't give up yet.

My ear is to the ground.
Good luck.
Death is so unreal until it is in your life. I am sorry for your loss. Be well, Jeanne.
Who's giving up? Not I :-)
I am sorry for your loss - death sucks. It shakes me to the core - and I'm thankful for a space in between the last few in my own life. Breath deeply my friend.
UTMG,
Thanks. Working tonight, funeral on Friday, so it won't be just yet. Don't forget to stretch every once in a while or you'll get a cramp.
Kathy,
Thanks, and hi. It's been a while.
Terry,
I dreamed about you last night. First time. You showed greater moral fiber than I did, admonishing me for having stolen a red purse. We were in some european country, not Sweden, and you were dressed in 18th century full length frills (a la Marie Antoinette) and walking with you legs bent and pointing outwards and your back straight. I have no idea what it means, but perhaps the details mean something to you.
Thanks, otherwise. I'm breathing as deeply as I can.
Jeanne - you should know I've pondered all day long on what that dream might mean... hmmm. Maybe I was doing the duck dance whilst pointing my hypocritical finger at you - God knows I'm no basket of moral fiber... ha ha! And a red purse? Hmmm well, I'm completely in the dark. Do you remember your dreams often or was this just a fluke? (oh, and I wouldn't be caught dead in frills)... LOL
Terry,
Very often. I would say usually, but the ones I don't remember at all I don't know exist, if there are any.
Loss can be extremely difficult to handle especially in the beginning, and futhermore I don`t belive our 'relationship' with the deceased ends, It just takes on another form.
Waiting for your next post Jeanne
I just saw your comment on my blog. I'm sorry about what has happened. You're in my thoughts.

Steve,
Lots of apples. Lots of rain. Lots of wet clothes.
I thought about something VERY INTERESTING which I am going to be writing about soon, so check again in a while.
I've been taking a lot of pictures on the few days that haven't been dismal. I may even get them up on the other blog. Despite the hand of death, things are better rather than worse.
You?
AC,
Thanks.
Thanks.
:)
Consise,
I finally found the key and after fumbling around awhile trying to get it in the right place at the right time, I am now in possesion of that poetry I talked about before. I'll be sending you a letter shortly.
I agree with you about death. It doesn't feel like an end. I hope it's not wishful thinking.
Memory is a fine medium for the afterlife. There, your actions still reach into the loves of those affected, and good judgement can carry on through generations
I'm sorry for your loss, Jeanne. I'll be here when you're ready to write again.
Jeanne, are these words which have meaning for you now, as you live in Sweden? Kallt, Blåsigt, Snöstorm, and of course, Våt om fötterna? Today is our first day of rain this season. It is awsome.
I hope your brush with death is not as troubling as when newly fresh. I like what Consise said - because I can't bear to let go of some who die. They mean too much.
Fantastic Jeanne,I'll look forward To your correspondance. Please note that my addy has changed, you can locate the new email on my webpage.
UTMG,
If a tree falls in a forest.......
Joe,
It's better now, thanks.
Terry,
Have you been taking lessons? Does your björn speak some Swedish?
I am better, we all are. Our house comes into its own somehow when it gets wintry out. It's very cozy at the moment, drinking tea (I, not the house) and contemplating bread recipes in the back of my mind.
Consise,
Acknowledged.
First off, there is no more heavenly smell than freshly baking bread. Ahhhh, I can imagine it well.
Nope, no lessons - just a quaint opportunity to look smart with Swedish :-)
Hope your weekend is great.
..it'll probably crush something no one was around to see.
How are you doing Jeanne? Miss you.
Terry,
Come, now. We are modern women. You Ms. me.
I Ms. you too, but I've been busy as a bee in a honeysuckle.
Hope it is a positive busy - as in bringing home the bacon :-) Happy change of seasons to you.
Just popped in to say Hello
